The village hall (in fact two halls) plays an important part in village life. The building was originally a school, as witnessed by some of the artefacts dug up during recent renovations. Today it is the centre of Pitcairngreen life, offering a meeting place for community groups, yoga classes, art and craft societies, and more.

The building provides a modern and bright environment for the community. Two halls are available for hire either on a regular or single-event basis. The commercial kitchen is fully Environmental Health compliant.
